PROGRAM LAUNCH: New Horizons

Hazell & Associates/Career Partners is proud to announce our completely overhauled service offering that aids the growing mature workforce and reaffirms our reputation as a driving force in the talent management industry – New Horizons! This retirement coaching program helps prepare individuals for a successful retirement customized to meet their personal needs.

Individual & Group Programs

With New Horizons, Hazell & Associates challenges “conventional thinking about retirement planning” - the abrupt cessation of career and active engagement. New Horizons helps you cultivate strong mutually beneficial relationships with mature workers, no matter what the future has in store for your organization or these employees. New Horizons individual and group programs are significantly more than an employee benefit. Three of many reasons to consider New Horizons are:

  • Increase employee productivity and morale. An effective later life planning process will help employees feel secure about their futures and significantly reduce the current anxiety brought on by all the changes impacting our society.
  • Retain essential skills instead of losing them at an unpredictable and unmanageable pace which is a natural fallout of conventional retirement thinking.
  • Acquire workforce flexibility by identifying and building rapport with skilled, experienced workers interested in future alternative work opportunities in the organization.

Individual Programs


Through our innovative transition-delivery approach, each candidate receives our Foundation Services for 12 months. These services include a comprehensive Initial Needs Assessment; the LifeOptions© Profile individual assessment; our New Horizons: Mapping Your Life Options™ workbook and access to our New Horizons Online Portal.
  • Specialist Executive Program - Provides comprehensive plan development and six months of intensive follow-up coaching by a Senior Certified New Horizons Coach. Modular program design allows the executive to choose specific focus, such as a next career, retirement plan, financial plan, or legal/legacy considerations. Specialists in starting a business/consultancy, financial planning, and estate planning are available as needed for rich, and tailored future planning.
  • Comprehensive Executive Program - Provides comprehensive plan development and six months of intensive follow-up coaching by a Senior Certified New Horizons Coach. Modular program design allows the executive to choose specific focus, such as a next career, retirement plan, financial plan, or legal/legacy considerations.
  • Executive Program - Provides comprehensive plan development and four months of intensive follow-up coaching by a Senior Certified New Horizons Coach. Modular program design allows the executive to choose specific focus, such as a next career, retirement plan, financial plan, or legal/legacy considerations.
  • Comprehensive Professional Program - Provides plan development assistance and three months of intensive follow-up coaching by a Certified New Horizons Coach. Modular program design allows the executive to choose specific focus, such as a next career, retirement plan, financial plan, or legal/legacy considerations.
  • Professional Program - Provides plan development assistance and follow-up coaching by a Senior Certified New Horizons Coach. Modular program design allows the professional to choose specific focus, such as a next career, retirement plan, financial plan, or legal/legacy considerations.

Group Workshop Programs

One-day or two-day group workshops for up to 15 individuals are delivered by a Certified New Horizons Coach. Both programs include the LifeOptions© Profile; New Horizons Portal and Workbook; and instruction on plan development. The two-day workshop includes expanded information on financial planning and legal/legacy considerations. Follow-up coaching is an optional supplementary offering.
