CLOONEY FILM LEAVES INDUSTRY UP IN THE AIR
Job termination is never easy. But in Jason Reitman's Oscar-nominated film, "Up in the Air," George Clooney makes it look like a slick transaction, a problem that can be solved with a couple of witty lines and a fullsome termination package. Many career transition professionals say the film misrepresents what they do. For starters, most outplacement firms in Canada don't actually fire people.
